Nobody is able to help all the people,
but everybody can help someone

Foundation “POMOST—Aid to Poles in the East”
is a non-profit, non-governmental, organization registered in 1994, no. 4412 in the Regional Court of Financial Registration in Warsaw; its operations are based on the work and social engagement of its members and volunteers. The foundation grew out of a moral imperative as well as the links between Poles everywhere and those Polish families forcibly imprisoned on the steppes of Kazakhstan and in the limitless expanses of the Siberian taiga by the Stalinist system in the former Soviet Union.

Humanitarian Aid Convoy is organized by the Foundation, supported by contributions and by the large generosity of the Presidium of the Polish Senate as well as local government. All aid is accepted by the Poles living in the East as a symbol of national solidarity with their tragic fate. For them it is the fulfillment of a long awaited return to Poland, whose landscape and traditions have been hidden in their hearts generation after generation.
